2017 Texas State Weightlifting Championships Payout Pools
The 2017 Texas State Weightlifting Championships will have a $10,000 cash purse. The cash purse will be allocated over 2 pools. One pool includes all athletes and another pool for athletes aged 20 or under. All rankings will be based on Sinclair only.

* IWF has approved a new female weight class to be determined mid-October. The Pmt QT will be calculated using a 190 Sinclair for the new classes. If any other weight classes are adjusted, the Pmt QT will be recalculated using a Sinclair of 256.93 for men and 190 for women.
Explanation of U20 Minimum Payout Totals
Sinclair totals were calculated using the 2017 Junior National Championships Qualifying totals for each weight class. For the + categories 75.1 and 105.1 was used. The highest Sinclair was identified as the highest common denominator. Finding a Sinclair that would meet or beat the highest common denominator Sinclair then backed into the Pmt QTs.
