2027 Texas State Weightlifting Championships

The 2027 Texas State Weightlifting Championships are returning to the Hyatt Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio January 8-10! Registration opens October 1 at 8am and will accommodate 540 lifters!

Please note a change to registration – No tier 1/2 totals required!  Open registration within the same age groups (U20, Master, and Open) starts October 1.  Then on November 1, all remaining spots will be converted to Open and will be first come/first served.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE

1. October 1 – 31: $115 (Texas Only)
2. November 1 – 30: $125 (Open to anyone – Out of state will lift as ‘extras’)
3. December 1 – 31: $150 (Late – extra only, no medals or placement)

This will be another 3 day event and we will be able to accommodate up to 540 athletes!  Please ensure you register for your proper division.

We will close registration on December 1.  This is done so that travel arrangements can be made with confidence in advance.  A schedule will be ready on, or about, December 1 and will be similar to the below very tentative schedule.

*If space allows, we will accommodate coaches that want to lift at the beginning of the event.

The 2027 Texas State Weightlifting Championships and Open will award:

• Medals to first, second, and third place for all weight categories across all divisions
• Best Lifters
  • Best Male/Female
  • Best Overall Lifters
• Best Teams
